Oliver has had minimal exposure to miniature golf. He has a Curious George book about it that he loves and he was lucky to attend Logan's glow-in-the-dark birthday party last fall. What he does know is that Florida has some great miniature golf courses so when we all ventured into Orlando for a few days it was very high on his to-do list. We found an awesome pirate-themed course close to our hotel so, like many golfers, we headed over first thing in the morning to play a quick 18 before heading off to do some sightseeing and outlet shopping. The course was both challenging and fun, with some beautiful landscaping and dedication to the pirate theme through and through. The weather looked like rain so the course was quiet, giving us plenty of time and space to enjoy ourselves. Oliver picked it up no problem thanks to his tireless hockey playing back home, while Isabelle impressed us all with the only hole-in-one of the day! It was the perfect start to our time in Orlando, a chance for us all to spend time together as a family, without any worry of chores, errands or cleaning to clog up our day. Only fun was on the agenda for the foreseeable future!
