Florida 2012: Everybody in the Pool!

To no one's surprise, Isabelle's love affair with the pool in New Smyrna continued on this trip. It was all she wanted to do, day in and day out. We swear that we could have never left the condo building during the two week span and she would have had just as good a time. Seeing as there was an endless stream of adults hanging out in shifts near the pool, it seemed to work out perfectly for her. Someone there for her to chat with the whole day long. She also got reacquainted with some of her friends from past year's visits, like Bob from Ogdensburg and Lauren from Massachusetts. She was quite the social butterfly and she brought little brother Oliver along for the ride. It took him a little while to want to venture out into the middle of the pool, but for several days he was just happy to chill out on the steps, right in the middle of all the action. Many hours spent poolside, relaxing, chatting, snacking, you name it. It's always a big focal point when we travel south and it's been amazing Isabelle go from tiny 6-month old baby in her first trip to this big kid that showed off her swimming skills by going end-to-end this year! Way to go, Isabelle and watch out for your pal Oliver, hopefully he'll be swimming next to you on a future trip. Then for sure we won't be going anywhere in New Smyrna Beach!
