Party Prep 101
Sunday it was finally time for the party celebrating Isabelle's fourth birthday and, like most events around here, the family pulled out all the stops to make sure the guest of honour and her invited guests were well taken care of. Not surprisingly, a fantastic time was had by all, even if it meant numerous shopping trips and several late nights to make it all happen. Isabelle decided she wanted a dance class with her favourite teacher so the theme was set from the get-go. Designer extraordinaire Auntie Meggie whipped up the wicked logo and we were off to the races. Loot bags, t-shirts, tutus and more, all of which were bigger projects than we originally anticipated. But in the end, it all worked out without a hitch and a great time was had by partygoers and parents alike. Good thing we only have these birthday things twice a year, any more and we'd be in constant planning mode (no pun intended). Tune in soon to see more from the birthday girl's big bash!
Who knew how much she would love dance class? A star is born.
The calm before the storm: a trail of tiny tutus waiting for their owners
A peek backstage before the curtain comes up!
Even the boys and the junior attendees were well taken care of.
Loot bags, nicely placed but ready to be attacked by tiny hands and fingers.
It's never a birthday without cake. Check our Isabelle's extra-large cupcake on top!
Let's not forget the real star of the show!
