Oliver Has Left the Building

We were hoping to regale everyone with great stories of Oliver's first ever performance at his Christmas concert. Unfortunately, our dreams of him moving on to superstardom at a young age like his countryman Justin Bieber will have to be put on hold for the short term. To no one's surprise, he was well dressed for the occasion with his candy cane tie, but the wheels came off shortly after he and his classmates took the stage. Already battling some general grumpiness, and as we soon learned afterwards was on the verge of being sick, he spotted his parents and reached out longingly for them, then clung to Miss Jen from start to finish. He was much more content with watching his friends sing than to take part himself. The stars just weren't aligned for his concert debut, but the show must go on. He will attend a couple of his sister's concerts in the coming week, so hopefully he will be a bit braver when his choir treads the boards in the new year. For now, he is getting extra cuddles at home as he fights illness with a fever. Poor guy, we know how much he practiced for his big day. Get 'em next time, kiddo!

Safe with his beloved Miss Jen

Not sure what to make of this concert stuff
