"Where's My Gran?"

Those were the first words out of Isabelle's mouth this morning as she opened her sleepy little eyes. Last night Gran and Grandpa arrived and Isabelle and Oliver were thrilled to have the honoured guests in their home, so much so that they both stayed up way past bedtime, showing off for their grandparents all the while. Of course Isabelle had to show them every toy she has, while Oliver just zipped back and forth, enjoying his extended fan club. Isabelle gave Gran the gift of a lovely framed photo, and then quickly said "Now can I have my present?". How does she know there was even a present waiting for her? Not even 4 and she's wise to the whole gifting ritual. Tonight we had a great walk along the canal and a scrumptious Kettleman's dinner, followed by some fun hanging out in the front yard. We can't wait to get to Toronto and see Aunties Meg and Mer, and especially cousin Olan! Let the good times roll!
