Summertime Pals

This week Oliver made a big leap in his development, one that is very important to his daily personal enjoyment: he can now go down the twisty slide all by himself! And boy, is he ever a proud boy every single time he goes down, nothing but big smiles. Isabelle is ever so happy to join him for the ride, as they laugh and giggle all the way to the bottom. She frantically climbs up as he gets the parental VIP ride and they meet at the mouth of the slide for another go-round. Good thing the park is just a few short steps away! Isabelle and Oliver have also been loving the warm weather, making the most of the new water toys in the front yard, especially their Jurassic Chomp pool, with sprinkler action that neither one of them seems to enjoy, so it stays unplugged and serves simply as a pool, a place for the two siblings to lounge and pass their time in the sunshine. They have so much fun together, and although they have the odd dispute usually centred around sharing of toys, Isabelle always says that her least favourite time of the day is when Oliver is having his nap. Great weather and a best pal to spend the day with, what more could they ask for?
