Still waiting for some snow to stick around, but we are thrilled that December has finally arrived! Isabelle seems to think it means Christmas is already here so apparently we will have some challenges on having her wait 25 days for Santa to actually make his appearance. Like most families, we have a lot on the agenda this month as we prepare for the holidays. A big change from last year as Mommy is no longer on maternity leave, clearly a little more difficult to get everything done while also heading off to work 5 days a week. Can't be as productive during nap time this year, because Oliver is napping at school! As a result, the weekends are filling up with errands but since the holidays are our favourite time of year, we enjoy each and every one of them. Seeing Isabelle remember previous year's traditions as well as build new ones puts a big smile on our faces, and experiencing the thrill of the holidays all over again through Oliver's eyes will make us feel wonderful. For now, the advent calendars provide the main source of daily joy (and chocolate), but wait until he sees what else is in store. December is going to be so much fun for all of us!
