This family is clearly ready for the holidays, if you haven't already guessed from recent posts. We had a great weekend as we continue to prep for the arrival of Saint Nick in a few weeks. The shopping is going very well and the decorating is approaching the tree phase, as we expect to pick one up next weekend. Isabelle is dozing away in her fleece PJs with presents all over them, one of three sets of Xmas themed sleepwear she has, with still weeks to go until the 25th! Our weekend was packed busy but full of fun stuff. Saturday we met up with Isabelle's Uncle Claude and cousin Jordan for lunch, as they were in town for a hockey tournament. We had a nice visit, Isabelle was shy to start but soon started to show off her acting skills, alternating between fake sleeping and shaking her head as fast as she could. She is such a great errand mate, not matter how much is on our plate, she is nothing but happy to tag along and entertain herself and others along the way. Sunday was also full of fun, with gingerbread house making and sledding along Dow's Lake. She will clearly think tomorrow is boring by comparison, but never fear, plans are already in motion to make next weekend as much fun as this one!
