Drop the Puck!

It's Labour Day, which means summer is officially over for all schoolgoers, including Isabelle and Logan (he actually already started last week!). The other sign of the end of summer is that hockey season begins, and we kicked off the preseason with the Ottawa 67s this afternoon as they hosted the Quebec Remparts and their coach/owner, Habs hockey legend Patrick Roy. It was an awesome way to spend the afternoon, escaping a cool and windy day outside to cheer on the home squad as they squeaked out a 3-2 victory and sent their diehard fans home happy. Isabelle, Oliver and Logan were amongst the happiest after a few hours of cheering and snacking and then heading home for a pizza dinner, a movie and a visit with baby Kayla. A great ending to a long weekend packed with activities!

Great looking shirts on beautiful grandchildren. Habs, Jets, it will be a fun hockey season.
