Chilling Out at Home

Little Oliver got sick while at school on Thursday, followed up by a rough night at home afterwards. As a result, he spent Friday at home chilling out with Daddy while Isabelle was determined to experience Pyjama Day at daycare. It was the perfect day for her as she started late and got picked up early, meanwhile Oliver stayed close to home for the rest of the day except for a trip to pick up some new underpants that put a smile on his face. The weekend pretty much stuck with the same formula, with Oliver close to home base as he gathered his strength and regained his appetite. Isabelle has been a good big sister helping her brother along and putting up with his favourite books and shows. But always the socialite, she had to step out today to her first ever movie birthday party, a screening of Gnomeo and Juliet that she and all the guests of birthday girl Alex enjoyed immensely. In fact, Isabelle even lamented that her last birthday party wasn't a movie until she was reminded how much fun her dance party was last September and agreed they were both fun. With next weekend the finale of Winterlude and Oliver's 2nd birthday, it promises to be action-packed, so it was good for them both to have time to relax (even if the parents are still exhausted!).

Coolest underpants ever!

Maybe I am as handsome as everyone says...
