For our family, the big shopping road trip meant the Xmas season has arrived, and what better way to commemorate it than to add to Isabelle's growing stable of holiday-themed characters. Having collected Rudolph in 2007 and Clarisse in 2008, this year we were excited to discover Frosty the Snowman is now available. At Build-a-Bear, Isabelle chose her Frosty and patiently waited to get him stuffed, as well as add a heart and a special sound (the Frosty song, naturally). Now it was time to choose accessories, with some no-brainers (pipe, scarf and broom) and some Isabelle specialties (she insisted he needed a guitar!?). So, Frosty plays his song if you squeeze his hand, and if you doff his cap, a magical sound plays and his cheeks and hat light up. She was thrilled to bring it to school today, but apparently it wreaked havoc at naptime as kids were having trouble snoozing as Isabelle doffed caps and squeezed hands. Needless to say, back to bringing her baby to school tomorrow!
We're up next!

Time to get stuffed

Heeeeeeeere's Frosty!

I thought Mom was taking her and Olan to get Frostie's in Halifax??
He's cute
DIdn't know about the plans until after we had told her that we would take her. Figured if she forgot then we would wait and she could go with Gran in Halifax. She DID NOT forget, however, so we took her like we promised. They are cute!
