The weekend has arrived and got off to a great start tonight as we visited Isobel's Cookies and Cupcakes on the way home, a place that is just far enough away from us that it isn't dangerous! Lovely homemade treats that the 2 girls in this family absolutely adore. It was all Isabelle could do to wolf down her dinner knowing the tasty treat that was waiting for her.
A truly gorgeous night here, so we took a nice walk along the lake to see if the ducks remembered us from last year. One of Oliver's first trips to the lake and the famed Rideau Canal, and he was happy to sit up in his stroller and enjoy the fresh air. Not to be left empty-handed, Isabelle insisted on bringing her own stroller, which she quickly abandoned when she found some ducks to follow. This is why she isn't in charge of watching Oliver!
