Darling Oliver has been checking off the milestones of late. He's been smiling for a while now, but we were thrilled to see him start laughing and interacting more than ever in the past couple of weeks. At his last doctor appointment, he tipped the scales at 12 lb, 12 oz, so he's also growing like a champ. As for the snoozing, he is a dream sleeper, whether it's on his back or rocking back and forth in his swing. Finally today he added his latest trick, sitting up in Isabelle's Bumbo! She was suitably impressed to see this when she arrived home from school. "Look, he's sitting in a chair!"
Not to be outperformed by her younger sibling, Isabelle has been making strides on the potty front lately. She is so excited about the prospect of wearing her Sleeping Beauty and Hello Kitty underpants, so hopefully that will be the recipe for diaperless days in no time. She had a successful trial weekend and has been good about letting us know when it's time to go. And it's helped her catch up on her reading too!
